Converse One Star Pro Shoes
A go-to everyday and skate ready style fuelled by performance driven features, this all black edition of the Converse One Star Pro Ox Shoes have durable rubber backed suede uppers, a CONS traction rubber outsole and signature embellishment. On either side of the foot cut out star emblems reveal the rubber underlays and a subtle line of performance sits to one side to encourage ventilation. Top stitching outlines these two details and continues across the laces border which holds the black polyester cotton blend laces in place. The elasticated tongue wraps around the top of the foot for all day comfort with a padded underside and an embossed Converse CONS logo design can be seen close to the top edge. An additional panel of suede runs down the back of the heel and around the inside of the ankle collar a smooth leather border adds durability. For impact protection a dual density Ortholite sockliner has a CX foam insole with a bold CONS logo printed in white for additional branding. The matte black CONS traction rubber outsole features an additional panel of textured rubber around the front of the foot and an embossed heel stamp sits on the back of the heel. Completing the design, the brown rubber tread provides a high level of traction for wear across a variety of terrains.
As one of Converse’s best celebrated designs, the One Star Pro has gone through many reworks and updates since it was first released in 1974 as a basketball shoe. Defined by its single star embellishment, the model has been upgraded with skate focused features such as an Ortholite sock liner, a CX foam insole and a traction rubber outsole which together provide a high level of comfort, durability and support during all day skate sessions.
