Vans x Anti Hero On The Wire T-Shirt
The Vans x Anti Hero On The Wire T-Shirt is a black 100% cotton everyday style that features front and back collaborative graphics, screen printed in white ink. Positioned on the left side of the chest below the ribbed neckline, stylised ‘Vans’ and ‘Anti Hero’ text has been added in a slightly curved line above illustrations of shoes hanging from a wire next to a pigeon. On the reverse, the same design has been printed to a larger scale which shows that one pair of shoes are Sk8 Mid Pros and the other in the background are a lower silhouette with signature side stripes, extra birds have also been illustrated alongside. Underneath, ‘Off The Wall’ and ‘On The Wire’ follows the same front as the main text above.
Released as part of a celebratory collaboration between two iconic skate brands, Anti Hero and Vans, the capsule collection of clothing, accessories and footwear presents co-branded graphics that incorporate signature taglines and emblems from both labels. In addition to this, colourways and silhouettes have been inspired by a team of pro skaters; each footwear style individually nods to the personality and skate styles of John Cardiel, Chris Pfanner, Jeff Grosso and Tony Trujillo.
